Introduction

National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) recognizes the expectations of the visitors to its website regarding privacy, confidentiality, and security of their personal information while browsing/ using our website. Keeping visitors’ personal information secure and using it solely for activities related to Bank’s business is a top priority of NaBFID.

Objective

This policy is framed to inform visitors the privacy practice followed & the governing way in which NaBFID collects and uses their personal information. Visitors are requested to go through the contents herein and if visitors do not agree with the practices mentioned herein, visitors may opt out of using this website. Definitions

“Bank” shall mean National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) having its Registered Office at The Capital, A Wing, 15th Floor - 1503, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400051, Maharashtra, India and in terms of this Policy and it shall include the words “we”, “us”, “NaBFID” which are used interchangeably in this Policy.

“Personal Data” or “Personal information” means any data or information which allows the visitor to be identified directly or indirectly. Provided that, any personal data or information that is freely available or accessible in public domain or furnished under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law for the time being in force shall not be regarded as sensitive personal data or information for the purpose of this policy.

“User” shall mean such person who is using the Bank’s website and to whom this policy is applicable, and it shall include the words “you”, “visitor” which are used interchangeably in this policy.

“Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information (this does not include personal sensitive information) which are downloaded to your device when you visit a website.

Applicability

This policy is applicable to personal information belonging to the visitors of NaBFID’s website.

Regarding Personal Information

NaBFID website does not collect personal information about visitors when they visit the site. Visitors can visit the site without revealing Personal Information unless visitors choose to provide such information.

Users’ e-mail address will only be recorded if users choose to send a message. It will only be used for the purpose for which users have provided it and will not be added to a mailing list. Users’ e-mail address will not be used for any other purpose, and will not be disclosed, without users’ consent.

NaBFID’s website uses cookies which are downloaded to users’ device when users visit the website. A cookie file saves website name, browser name, date, and time in user’s device. Purpose/Use of Personal Information

Personal information – name, email id, phone number, organisation details - is collected only when a user lodges a query. This information is collected to effectively respond to the respective query of the user. The information is securely stored within the ambit of the applicable laws. The Bank shall not divulge any personal information collected from the user, for cross selling or any other purposes outside the Bank.

Change of Policy

Privacy Policy is subject to periodic updates and updated policy shall be displayed on the website.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian Laws. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
