Contingency Management Plan

There may be circumstances—such as a natural calamity or other events beyond human control—where the entire data centre hosting the NaBFID website is destroyed or rendered inoperable. In such an event, services will be immediately restored from the designated Disaster Recovery (DR) site, ensuring continuity of operations and minimizing service disruption.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

NaBFID is committed to ensuring that its key services continue to run smoothly, even during unexpected disruptions. Our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) focuses on being prepared, staying connected, and recovering quickly.

  • The BCP is regularly updated to reflect any changes in risk, technology, or operations.
  • It helps identify events that could affect our work—like cyber threats or natural disasters—and outlines steps to minimize their impact.
  • The plan ensures that NaBFID’s critical functions can continue or resume quickly after any disruption.
  • Communication with employees, users, and stakeholders is built into the plan to keep everyone informed during a crisis.

 Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)

Our Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) focuses on restoring IT systems and data in case of a breakdown or cyber incident.

  • We regularly conduct disaster recovery drills to check if systems can be restored properly. If issues are found, they are fixed and re-tested.
  • During tests, we operate from the disaster recovery (DR) site for at least one full business day to make sure it can handle real operations.
  • The systems at our main data center and the DR site are kept in sync, including all software settings and security updates.

The recovery process is designed to meet our set targets for how quickly services are restored (RTO) and how much data we can afford to lose (RPO).
